One of Tangerine’s natural wonders.

Many people know that Tangerine is a bird sanctuary but may not be aware of other wildlife living here. In addition to butterflies, we have foxes, bears, possums and swamp rabbits. Happily most Tangerine residents have learned how to live among the animals. 

Community Breakfast

The Tangerine Improvement Society hosts the Tangerine Cafe at their Community Center on Wright Avenue the first Saturday of each month from 8 – 10 AM. It’s $5 afor adults & $2 for children 10 & under.   Breakfast is all you can eat including eggs to order, pancakes, french toast, sausage, coffee, juices, and whatever surprise dishes members whip up.*
